GeoSetter - adding geotags to your photos
I have a Flickr account. It's been great for sharing family snaps with the aunties in Melbourne and the great-auntie in Perth.
But then my partner put me on to GeoSetter [http://www.geosetter.de/en/] - he's had his open licence for photography for ages.
The fun of seeing my March family holiday snaps at Lady Elliot Island dotted over a map of the island has made me a convert.
It's wonderful interoperability of GeoSetter with Picasa and Picasa Web [the Google equivalent of Flickr], and Google maps and Google Earth has swapped me from Flickr to Picasa - at least for the private use area.
Have a read of this review - GeoSetter: The Best Free Photo Geotagging App? - and see if you're about to swap affiliations.
